[edit] commands broken after page revert (fixed)

Jorges recently reverted Wikipedia in other language to an earlier version. After that, the command wen didn't work any more. I don't know whether this applies to all commands or just to regex commands. After a small edit, it works again. Kevang 17:31, 29 September 2007 (CEST)

The reason is that the language category got lost somehow at the revert. It affected several other commands as well. Ca you look at this Jorges? Arnomane 01:35, 1 October 2007 (CEST)
It's not the language category. They are generated automatically according to the language= attributes in the <command>-Tags.
The problem is, that the command table is not updated after sysop one-click-reverting. I will fix that. --Jorges 10:29, 1 October 2007 (CEST)
Fixed now. --Jorges 23:53, 9 December 2007 (CET)

[edit] Suggestions Javascript (fixed)

[edit] User namespace prefix missing on "command not found" page (fixed)

On serchilo's "The query did not match any command" page, suggestions for commands are given along with links to the wiki pages where the suggested commands are defined. For user-defined commands, these links are broken because the User: prefix is missing. Kevang 21:24, 28 February 2008 (CET)

Thanks, I fixed it. --Jorges 02:12, 19 March 2008 (CET)

[edit] Can't remove bad page. (done)

I added a new command, but there is no command attached to the page, only an explanation, I looked for a way to delete it but couldn't find one.

http://wiki.serchilo.net/Chewbone_Mp3blog_Search

I added another page that works and I want to keep it:

http://wiki.serchilo.net/Chewbone_Mp3_Blog_Search

Only sysops may remove pages. But your redirect is also a good solution. --Jorges 13:04, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ebay

Ebay-Suche geht nicht mehr.

Tatsächlich? Bei mir schon. Welche Eingabe führt denn zu einem Fehler? In welcher Sprache benutzt Du Serchilo? --Jorges 20:06, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
--Jorges 18:16, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] tvinfo - Umlautfehler (fixed)

Jetzt klappts. --Jorges 14:08, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wiki typo (fixed)

Unites Nations search should surely be United Nations search. Maybe someone could move the article.

Moved to United Nations. Any registered user may move command pages. --Jorges 16:54, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tagesschau kollidiert mit UNIX Timestamp

Beide Kommandos benutzen ts.

--Jorges 16:03, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Default Command doesn't work is rather bad documented

I really like Searchilo, but it disturbs me when it doesn't "google" stuff automatically. I've set up the default command in my preferences page. It is set to "g" but I've tried "g " as well (not the leading space). Also, personal commands don't work. Thus I suspect the error somewhere in my configuration. But where? Firefox should send the cookie I am authenticated with. Maybe I'll sniff my HTTP connection to check whether Searchilo (besides the wiki) can know about me at all. I've installed that search thing for firefox that replaces my google search. I did this, however, before I set the default command. What do I have to do to get the default command thing working? --Muelli 02:02, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I resolved this issue. After I found out, that I have to use "muelli.serchilo.net" (which isn't very obvious) to use User Commands, I managed to install the firefox search plugin that uses my domain. Default Command works perfectly now.

I propose to make perfectly clear, i.e. in that preferences dialog, that you have to use *your user sub-domain* (i.e. http://example.serchilo.net) in order to use the default command and user commands in general. --Muelli 02:32, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your suggestion. There is now an info on Special:Preferences->Serchilo about user commands. Hopefully, this is clear enough. Besides, there is this Serchilo:User commands. --Jorges
